I believe that each individual has a unique story and their own way of expressing and making sense of their experiences. When individuals encounter situations that feel overwhelming, deeply painful, or beyond their capacity to manage, I see my role as a counselor as being like a warm scarf—offering care, safety, and a sense of being held—and a little flashlight, gently illuminating the path as individuals reconnect with their inner strength, autonomy, resources, and self-compassion.

I also recognize the important ways in which the body interacts with both our conscious and unconscious experiences. Therefore, counseling does not have to rely solely on words. I value creating space for individuals to explore and engage in dialogue with their bodies through movement, symbols, images, art-making, and other creative approaches. These forms of expression can provide additional pathways for individuals to access experiences and inner resources that may be difficult to express verbally.

My approach is grounded in curiosity, collaboration, and respect for each person’s autonomy. Rather than imposing meaning or directing individuals toward a predetermined answer, I seek to walk alongside them, offering a safe and compassionate space in which they can discover their own meanings, strengths, and possibilities.
