A Commitment to Inclusion and Care

At the Community Services Center, the holiday season is one of our favorite times of the year, and Giving Tree 2024 was no exception! Giving Tree, an initiative by SALT Collectiv, exemplifies impactful charitable giving aimed at bringing holiday joy to individuals facing hardship. As a partnering organization alongside F45, we had the honor of visiting the Yu-Cheng Social Welfare Foundation and delivering presents generously donated by our community—a tangible expression of charitable giving supporting vulnerable populations.

This year, we fulfilled 20 holiday wishes for Yu-Cheng’s clients, individuals with intellectual disabilities and developmental delays, aligning with our commitment to charitable giving that promotes inclusion and care. Seeing the smiles and gratitude on their faces reinforced the profound impact of charitable giving and why we are passionate about this type of community outreach.

Celebrating the Spirit of Partnership and Community Impact

The day was filled with festive cheer as we shared moments of laughter and delivered presents to our friends at Yu-Cheng. It was a touching reminder of the power of collaborative charitable giving to positively impact the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities.

We are especially grateful to SALT Collectiv for organizing this meaningful event with such thoughtfulness and care. Their dedication to fostering positive change through charitable giving and community support is genuinely inspiring. We would also like to acknowledge F45 for their enthusiastic engagement and contributions to the event—showcasing the strength of collaborative charitable giving.

For those of us at the Community Services Center, Giving Tree 2024 embodies the true spirit of the holiday season: uplifting those in need, spreading joy, and reinforcing our community bonds through acts of charitable giving. We are so thankful for everyone who participated, making this year’s #GivingTree2024 a resounding success. Your acts of generosity and kindness highlight the incredible impact we can achieve together through collaborative actions, making a difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
