The Community Services Center’s new website launches in September 2025 with faster event registration, easier payments, better mobile browsing, and more.
Hello Taiwan, the wait is over: the Center has launched its all-new website!
By popular demand and thanks to public feedback, the Community Services Center has invested time and resources since spring 2025 to rebuild its website. Users like you can now take advantage of faster event registration, easier payments, simpler navigation, and better mobile browsing when visiting www.communitycenter.org.tw
Our new website will go through the initial “soft launch” phase on September 1, with limited event registration. Starting September 4, all Center classes, activities, and other events will be fully migrated and ready to register in the new system.
But wait, there’s more! Once you’ve created your new Center website account, you are now eligible to enter our Center Website Relaunch Scavenger Hunt! Check back on September 8 for a link to our game and prize-drawing details!
How can you get a leg up on your scavenger hunt? Read on below for some of our new website features!
1. Create your new Center user account! Logging in is now easier with Google and Facebook sign-ups!
Even if you have an old Center website account, starting Monday, September 1, we invite everyone to create a new user account in our new website system. Our website address, www.communitycenter.org.tw, remains the same, but existing accounts will not be migrated over automatically.
Create a new Center user account using your email address — or you can now even use your Google profile or Facebook profile! Head to www.communitycenter.org.tw and click the person icon in the top right corner to get started.
2. Take advantage of smarter event checkout and easier payments.
If you love signing up for Center classes and activities, we’ve made your life easier. In our new system, you can register and pay for multiple events at once. Go wild and sign up for Survival Chinese, yoga, and cooking classes at the same time, with only a few clicks!
Better still: online credit card payments are now available! You can now directly enter your credit card information and store it for future payments. No more QR codes or separate entry links to process your card! (Bank transfers and cash will still be permitted as payment methods; PayPal will no longer be accepted.)
3. Explore helpful Resource articles and other new webpages.
We know that adjusting to life in Taiwan can sometimes feel overwhelming, and the Center is here to be your trusted guide. Our newly revamped Resources page is designed to be your first stop whenever you need clarity, reassurance, or inspiration.
On this page, you’ll find regularly updated articles on everything from navigating daily life in Taiwan, understanding local culture, and exploring things to do, to reading the real experiences of international residents who have walked the same path. We’ve also made our FAQs and Terms of Service easier to read, so you can quickly understand event registration, payments, and other Center policies.
The new layout makes it simpler than ever to discover exactly what you’re looking for — whether that’s practical essentials (like banking, healthcare, and transportation tips), lists and guides for fun activities, or personal stories that remind you that you’re not alone in your journey.
And of course, all your favorite articles from the old site — including Community Spotlights, Intern Spotlights, Taiwan living tips, and mental health articles — are still with us. We’re continuing to migrate that archive into the new system, so thank you in advance for your patience as we expand this growing resource library.
With the Resources page, everything you need to feel informed, connected, and at home in Taiwan is now in one place.
Once again, thank you everyone for your continued support of the Community Services Center over these past four decades. Whether it’s improving our website functionality or listening to public feedback, the Center strives to do our best in serving Taiwan’s international community. From mental health services to wellbeing offerings, from social events to newcomer workshops, the Center and our website will continue to support foreign residents, expatriates, and multicultural families in Taiwan.
See you soon this fall, online at our new website, at a Center event, or at our annual fundraising gala later this November!
